Hummm after stucked a load of time I would suggest some entertainment for techy ppls as well.
Here is a small tip for those new to FarmVille on facebook.
Enclose your farmer with haybales and noticed that your actions will be completed quickly as plow, harvest and other activities will no more require farmer to be on spot.
try and see results -- Save some time for development ;) - appy coding
